The BartyCast is a mostly Rock & Roll show featuring episodes of roughly thirty minutes of music. I try to get in 6 or 7 songs in each episode. This is a podcast with less chatter and more platters. Basically what chatter you do hear is some information about each artist, like where they are from and such. The music is what is important. The artists featured here are primarily independent artists and the show’s purpose is to give them some exposure.
Mostly all the songs are from the Podsafe Music Network, http://www.mevio.com/music. many of the artists can be found at Ariel Publicity as well, http://www.arielpublicity.net.

You can find my podcast in iTunes as well as the Zune Marketplace.
I use GarageBand 09 on a Macintosh MacBook Pro to create the show. The episodes are saved in .m4a format. You can get an .mp3 of any show merely by emailing me. I used to create the show in an enhanced format with chapters and extra photos but that proved too time consuming to keep up.
Older episodes were created with CastBlaster on a Dell E510 running Windows XP Media Center Edition. CastBlaster is a wonderful program, and I miss it a lot, but Window’s odd collection of faults makes it too unreliable to stick with on a consistent basis. All of those episodes are plain .mp3s with only album art as an added touch.
