BartyCast is a mostly Rock & Roll show featuring episodes of roughly thirty minutes of music. I try to get in 6 or 7 songs in each episode. This is a podcast with less chatter and more platters. Basically all you will hear is some information about each artist, like where they are from and who they list as influences and their music. The music is what is important. The artists featured here are primarily independent artists and the show’s purpose is to give them some exposure.

I use GarageBand 08 on a Macintosh G5 to create the show. The episodes are saved in enhanced format which includes chapters and photos of the artists. Looks pretty good on an iPod, or in iTunes. You can get an .mp3 of any show merely by emailing me.
Older episodes were created with CastBlaster on a Dell E510 running Windows XP Media Center Edition. CastBlaster is a wonderful program, and I miss it a lot, but Window’s odd collection of faults makes it too unreliable to stick with on a consistent basis. All of those episodes are plain .mp3s with only album art as an added touch.
